The team
Energise Mortgages was established in 1995 and the team consists of four mortgage and protection advisers and two administrative support. The team offers an impressive combined experience of over eighty-five years within the financial services industry.
All of our team members share similar goals, in that we want to help people into their dream homes. In fact, the best part of the job for us is to see a happy new homeowner pick up their keys, as well as saving them money, wherever possible, throughout the application process.
Outside of the office, we share some interesting hobbies, one of the more unusual of these being trying to establish an alpaca herd at their home farm. We’ll let you guess who that hobby belongs to, once you’ve met us!
What we advise on
We work with a wide variety of mortgage lenders across the full spectrum of the mortgage market. Access to both high street and specialist lenders means we can find a mortgage to suit almost any circumstances.

If you’re looking to buy property locally, we have a strong working relationship with a highly reputable local estate agent, as well as an excellent panel of solicitors we’re happy to refer you to. Whatever your property ownership needs, we have the information you need or a trusted associate who can help.
We believe the service and customer experience we provide are our greatest strengths. We offer thorough but uncomplicated explanations every step of the way. Our small team is friendly yet experienced, professional yet approachable — and we really value the relationships we build with our clients.
Our fees
Our initial consultation is always free of charge. Standard fees are a competitive £395 and are not due until completion.
Energise Mortgages is directly regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Our clients
We have a wide range of clients throughout North and North West Leeds, although we specialise in helping first-time buyers. Every client is an individual, and mortgage advice should be tailored to fit the customer.
We’re happy to go above and beyond, offering as much or as little support as you want — from finding your dream home right through to getting the keys. We take care of most of the admin, keep you updated on progress, and diarise your deal’s expiry date so you’re never paying more than you need to.
If you want a fully personalised service, where the goal is the mortgage that benefits you most rather than the first lender that will say yes, you’ve found the right place.
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
Meet the adviser
There’s more to me than just mortgages. I also have a love for the countryside and a unique venture — my alpaca farm. Nestled in the countryside near York, my alpacas are not just my furry friends, but also a testament to my dedication to diverse interests.
Alpacas, much like mortgages, require careful attention, understanding and a keen eye for detail. Just as I meticulously evaluate mortgage options, I apply the same diligence to caring for my herd — a blend of financial acumen and agricultural expertise that sets me apart.
